Without further ado, Ranger Doug's year-end roundup!

Dear Saddle Pals, time for our yearly statistical update, as we finished 2016 with a motor home wreck and our 7,067th performance which was at the Grand Ole Opry New Year's Eve.

The numbers have gone up a few ticks, but the state order (outside of Davidson County, Tennessee performances of course) remains about the same, with sunny California leading with 480 appearances, followed by Texas with 408, Nevada with 326, Colorado with 218, Ohio and North Carolina with 192 each, Kansas with 166 and on and on it goes.

The Great Trail Drive enters its 40th year with an appearance at The Orange Blossom Opry in Weirsdale, Florida tomorrow (watch for icy roads, ouch) and on and on it goes! Thanks for staying with us!
